Select An Intern
The Washington Center provides opportunities for internship placement organizations to work with interns throughout the year. We work on a quarter and semester schedule and provide three programs each year, spring, summer and fall. Student interns participate during one of these three quarter/semester programs. The summer term is a 10-week program while the spring and fall semesters last for 12 weeks (quarter) or 15 weeks (semester). Students work 4 or 4.5 days a week in their internship.
Five Easy Steps
Mentor An Intern
Working with an intern is an exceptional opportunity to be a teacher and a mentor to an aspiring college or university student. It is also a serious commitment to designate time in one's demanding schedule to oversee and guide a student's work during a 10 or 15-week period.
