Adjunct Faculty Position
U.S.-CHINA BILATERAL TRADE PROGRAM, SPRING SEMESTER 2009
The Washington Center is seeking an adjunct faculty member for a specialized course on U.S.-China bilateral trade. The instructor needs to have academic depth and experience to address the needs of the course that include history, trade, business, economics, culture, politics, and contemporary issues related to the U.S-China bilateral agenda.
The instructor will be responsible for teaching 20 U.S. and Chinese university students about the U.S.-China bilateral trade agenda one evening a week for three hours. The instructor should have experience working with international students and using experiential pedagogical approaches for maximum student engagement.
The class will be held at The Washington Center’s Academic Center at 1333 16th St. NW, Washington, DC 20036. The dates of the program will run January through May 2009. CV’s will be accepted until the position is filled.
