Choose Your City
Our Intern Abroad Programs provide students an opportunity to combine studying in an exciting, international city with a valuable internship experience. Participants also learn about this nation’s capital, as each program begins with a seminar in Washington, D.C. Students explore the city as a center of government, politics, international affairs, media, business and nonprofit work – and consider it comparatively alongside the city in which they will intern and study for the rest of the term.
We have provided for you a snapshot of each destination city so that you can explore which location might best suit your academic, career and personal interests. Feel free to browse each site. For further information about studying abroad, please visit the U.S. Department of State’s travel site. |

My internship at MAPA was an invaluable experience. I enjoyed everything in London so much that I know I will not be satisfied with my future career unless it takes me abroad! I have also come to realize that London truly is an inernational city. Living and interning there made me more educated about global affairs and has left me feeling like I have a better understanding of the
rest of the world. |
