Mentor A Young Person

If you are in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and can consider taking an intern for one semester, you will help her or him fulfill their career and educational goals.

  • TWC interns are bright, energetic, and eager to learn while gaining real world experience.

  • TWC interns are pre-screened for academic ability and maturity.

  • You will receive applications from one or more candidates to consider with no obligation to accept any.

  • You may pre-select candidates based on their major, GPA, or other factors.

  • You are encouraged to interview potential interns directly by phone prior to making any offer.

  • You can offer a grant or scholarship to help your intern come to Washington (there is no obligation, but many competitive students will have several competing offers).

  • Some mentors view our highly-qualified, diverse pool of internship applicants as an opportunity to meet potential entry-level hires.
