The Washington Center (TWC) is seeking Adjunct Faculty in Political Science/International Affairs beginning Fall 2019, with a current need in the following area:
- Security and Peace in International Relations
All courses at TWC meet in person, one evening a week (Monday through Thursday), beginning at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 9:30 p.m. Summer term lasts 9 weeks. The Fall and Spring semesters last 14 weeks, and the Classes generally have 16-18 students and consist of mostly junior and senior level college students, both domestic and international.
Adjunct Faculty appointments are on a semester-by-semester basis and usually for one section per semester, contingent upon enrollment.
Required Education and Experience
Required qualifications to teach include an earned doctorate or appropriate terminal degree, with teaching experience at the college level highly preferred. Applications are considered on a rolling basis depending on need.
