The Washington Center is seeking to hire an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Crisis Communications starting Spring 2020.
All courses at TWC meet in person, one evening a week (Monday through Thursday), beginning at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 9:30 p.m. The Fall and Spring semesters last 14 weeks, and the Summer term lasts 9 weeks. Classes generally have 16-18 students and consist of mostly junior and senior level college students, both domestic and international.
Adjunct Faculty appointments are on a semester-by-semester basis and usually for one section per semester, contingent upon enrollment.
Required qualifications to teach include a Master’s Degree in an appropriate discipline and relevant work experience. Earned doctorate or appropriate terminal degree preferred. Teaching experience at the college level is highly preferred. Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
To apply, please submit a cover letter, CV or resume, sample syllabi, and course evaluations (if available) via our online application form.
