Alumni Leadership Council (ALC)

Launched in Spring of 2023, this group shapes how The Washington Center will continue to serve the 68,000+ global alumni community and helps plan and execute alumni programming locally, regionally and beyond.

Membership spans broadly across decades, careers and geographies where there are high concentrations of alumni. Council members have at least one thing in common — a dedication and passion to advance TWC’s mission. Members serve as regional representatives to support the following five strategic initiatives:

  • Increase alumni programming at a local level, focused on career development and networking.
  • Mentor students and serve as industry expert speakers at TWC events.
  • Deepen ties between alumni and TWC to drive more mission impact.
  • Build a culture of alumni philanthropy by increasing participation rates.
  • Help identify TWC’s next pipeline of mission-aligned external partnerships.
