Host an Intern Virtually and Expand Your Talent Pipeline

Host an intern virtually this spring and expand your recruitment network with The Washington Center’s Cybersecurity Accelerator Program.

Built around a project designated by employer partners, participating college students will complete a short-term “micro-internship” remotely over the course of four to five weeks, February 27 – March 30, 2023. The Washington Center (TWC) will recruit students for technical and non-technical roles, with an emphasis on those attending Minority Serving Institutions, such as HBCUs, Tribal Colleges and Community Colleges.

Students will access the Cyber-Discovery Experience pre-program on resume and skills support, and gather in-person for TWC’s Cybersecurity Bootcamp, March 31 – April 2, 2023. This event will bring students, employers and cybersecurity industry leaders together in Washington, D.C. for networking and learning in partnership with The Cyber Guild.

This program is offered at no cost to eligible intern participants. Funding to cover a stipend for work completed, along with travel, room and board for in-person events is provided through a combination of grants and employer investment.
