I am Josilyn Lieb. Most people know me by Josi (Jah-c not Josie). My hometown is Findlay, Ohio. Personally, I think the most exciting thing to do at home is eat Dietsch’s Ice Cream and take advantage of all of our local coffee shops. Findlay doesn’t have much, but what it does have are coffee shops and restaurants.
I attend Ohio Northern University for a double major in History and Political Science. This coming fall, I will be entering my junior year. At school, I am passionate about getting as involved in my department by taking every opportunity to help as I can and hardly ever leaving our building. I am so lucky to be in a department that is such a family unit. Being part of a group that encourages me to bring out my passion for history and be completely genuine is freeing.
When I am not at school or studying, people can find me hanging out with my dog, drinking coffee, or obsessing over something history related.
My personality is quite bubbly and, according to one of my TWC roommates, approachable. Listening to people talk about things that make their hearts happy brings me a lot of joy. I don’t like being stuck in an apartment all day and really enjoy being out. Even if “being out” means just studying at a coffee shop rather than my apartment.
Being away from home is going to be a challenge. I hope to be able to adapt to this new environment and take every opportunity to grow as a person.
