Hello everyone! My name is Mythea Mazzola and I am from Rochester,NY - home of Wegmans Food Markets and the Garbage Plate. I am a senior at the University of Rochester double majoring in Political Science and Business. After graduation, I hope to work for a non-profit or a socially conscious business. I am passionate about affordable housing and making housing more accessible to people with disabilities.
This Fall, I’m interning with the Development and Communications teams at the National Community Reinvestment Coalition. NCRC is a policy and advocacy organization that advances Affordable Housing access, strengthens the Community Reinvestment Act, increases Home Ownership and addresses other related issues. I am excited to learn and grow as a young professional through my internship experience and networking in D.C.
During my time here, I hope to attend various TWC events (such as Zumba on Thursday nights!), volunteer, attend open mic nights, and explore the city as much as possible. When I am not interning or taking classes, you can often find me watching How I Met Your Mother (for the sixth time), listening to political and pop culture podcasts, and looking for dogs to pet.
Lookin’ good!
